EXTREME OFFICE MAKEOVER CONTEST ANNOUNCES FINALISTS AND CELEBRITY JUDGES
Rockville, MD – February 10, 2010 – The finalist for the Extreme Office Makeover has been narrowed down to two applicants. Congratulations go to The Wellness Community of Bethesda and the Computer Learning and Resources Center of Silver Spring. All of the well deserving businesses that applied will have another opportunity in next years contest.
The finalists have 2 weeks to submit any further info that may enhance their application and a winner will be announced at the Original Third Tuesdays Networking Event on March 16th at Clyde’s, Tower Oaks.
Contest judges will include Steven Silverman, Director of Montgomery County Department of Economic Development, Sally Sternbach, Rockville Economic Development Inc., and Cliff Chiet, Publisher of The Gazette, and The Gazette of Politics & Business.
The contest aims to highlight the community service efforts of small businesses, including those that applied and those that have donated services.
The application deadline was on December 18th and was open to businesses operating in Montgomery County for at least two years and with at least three employees. The winner will receive more than $100,000 in products and services. Montgomery County business owners came together to design a contest that would help to stimulate businesses in Montgomery County by giving them a helping hand with products and services and that will bring their business to the next level.
